Jim Cox to be honored at our Friday Lunch – 12:15, January 27th, Cask & Schooner

Come to our San Juan Pilots Friday, “End of the Month Lunch” — January 27, 12:15 at the Cask and Schooner. At this month’s lunch our very own, Jim Cox, will be receive the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. The Program Manager from the FAA Safety Team in Renton, Dr. Jean Francois Mpouli, will come up on the ferry present the award to Jim at our lunch.

From the FAA website: “The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award is the most prestigious award the FAA issues to pilots certified under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 61. This award is named after the Wright Brothers, the first US pilots, to recognize individuals who have exhibited professionalism, skill, and aviation expertise for at least 50 years while piloting aircraft as ‘Master Pilots’.”
