Fly Thee Not Into That Good Night

Hark!  What be that sound?  Either the wings of a thousand bats from the devil’s own cave,  or  the run-up of a 206 who would depart  25 at the Harbor of Roche.  The good citizens whose writings appear below, pray thee no overflight of the Shakespeare performances.  Indeed, the thespians whose performances depend upon the exact dialogue of the Bard, will be thought not worthy at the utterance of, “What the hell was that?”

Dear Pilots…  Please see note below for outdoor theatre performances this summer at Roche.  Runway 25 is preferable for landing & 7 for takeoff if possible.  If taking off on 25, please climb out & get up as soon as possible & avoid flying over the outdoor theatre at the times & days mentioned below.  The theatre is located on the hill in the woods just above the new vacant lots for sale on the hill above the Resort.  Any questions, please call us at 360-378-3500 or email at rocheharborairfield@centurytel.net

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Hello,

It’s that time of year again! Would you be kind enough to alert pilots to the fact that we are playing from July 29 – Aug 22nd from Thursdays through Sundays from 8:15 to 10: 30 (2 hrs 15 mins per night) and ask them to avoid flying over during those times?

                      Thanks so much,

                                              Helen
