EASTSOUND, Wash. — Deputies with search dogs are scouring the rugged west side of Orcas Island in a new search for the teen fugitive Colton Harris-Moore, the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office says.
Searchers on the ground began their hunt for the teen at 1:15 a.m., using dogs from San Juan and Whatcom counties, the sheriff’s office said.
Air space is closed over the west side of the island, up to 4,000 ft.
